Our Mission
The Voices of Vicksburg is excited to launch its inaugural season for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The primary goal of VoV is to provide high-quality choral music education while fostering unity within the Vicksburg community.
Music is a bond that connects us all. By bringing our youth together through a shared passion and purpose, we aim to build a brighter future for our city.

FAQs

Any 7th-12th grade student is eligible to become a member of VoV.

VoV meets every Monday and Thursday from 6:30pm-7:30pm.
We understand that this time frame may appear late. However, it is important to us that students be able to participate even if they take part in athletics, band, dance, or other extracurricular activities offered throughout our city.
VoV also meets the first Saturday of every month in order to reinforce community and crack down on music for the concert season

It is so important to us that our students be exposed to a wide range of music, cultures, and languages.
VoV will also learn music geared toward specific performances such as the holidays!

There is a $50 dollar fee for all students in order to cover crucial expenses: uniforms, music, etc.
We do offer limited scholarship opportunities for students who would otherwise be unable to participate due to financial hardships. Click here for our scholarship application.
