Mark Burgos has been with the Conservatory since 2025 and has extensive experience in percussion performance and education.

He began his musical career in Cleveland, Mississippi, performing for four years in the Wildcats Band snare line and serving as Drum Captain his senior year, before continuing on the snare line with the Delta State University Band.

Mark has performed in live theater productions such as Grease at the Bologna Performing Arts Center, as well as in indoor percussion shows, jazz bands, and rock bands on drum set. He also served as Assistant Band Director for The Washington Band, where he wrote the percussion music for the marching show “Michael Jackson Tribute.”
